Special Youth Events
Join us on May 12 at 10:00am at the Pinedale Ballfields for the official skills competition of Major League Baseball. This is a FREE event, hosted by PAC & the Pinedale Little League, for boys and girls - ages 7-14. This is your chance to compete at a Major League ballpark! Register Now! Join us on May 22 at 4:30pm, for this FREE track and field meet for boys and girls - ages 5-14, the largest youth activity program of its kind in North America! Each meet includes basic running, jumping and throwing events as FUNdamentals for a lifetime of activity. Top finishing athletes, ages 9-14, will qualify for the state meet and the opportunity to advance to the North American Final in Hershey, Pennsylvania! Registration starts May 2. 2012 Summer Camps

All participants enrolled in a PAC Summer Camp will receive a camp t-shirt for each individual camp. Enrollments are limited in each camp and will be honored on a first-come, first-serve basis. Camp enrollments are based off the students’ grade for the 2012-13 school year. No PAC Membership is required to participate.

Camp Little Wranglers (#213201)

This ever-changing day camp will offer your child the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities, crafts and occasional field trips that will encourage creativity and being active. Enrollment options are flexible to fit your family’s needs; however space is limited and will be filled on a first-come, first-serve basis. Advanced registrations are recommended.
Yoga Camp (#213207)
DATES: June 11- 15 GRADES: PreK (ages 4+)- 2 & 3- 7
FEE: $75 INSTRUCTOR: Darcie Peck
Participants will practice stretching, strengthening and balance postures while focusing on body alignment and mindful integration of breath.
Little Wrangler Golf Clinic (#213215)
DATES: June 12- 13 GRADES: 1- 4
FEE: $25 INSTRUCTOR: Kirby Walker
This introductory clinic will give participants the basic fundamentals to the game of golf. Swing, grip, chipping, putting and etiquette will be the primary focus of the clinic. This camp will be held at Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course and clubs will be available for participants during camp at no extra charge, thanks to the Kiwanis Club.
Tennis Camp (#213206)
DATES: June 25- 29 GRADES: 1- 3 & 4- 6
FEE: $75 INSTRUCTOR: Patti Cloninger, Shawn Piros & Margaret Huggins
Athletes will learn and improve basic tennis fundamentals including serving, receiving and proper technique and will have the opportunity to play in both single and doubles matches. Participants will also learn game rules and scoring.
Track Camp (#213208)
DATES: July 9- 11 GRADES: 6- 9
FEE: $55 INSTRUCTOR: Lincoln Proud
This is a sprint and hurdle camp. Athletes will work on proper running mechanics to maximize efficiency in open sprints and hurdles. Participants will also have the opportunity to work on hand-off techniques for sprint relays and block starts. The camp will be divided into spring and hurdle sessions.
Basketball Camp (#213209)
DATES: July 9- 12 GRADES: 1- 3 & 4- 5
FEE: $65 INSTRUCTOR: Maurice “Moe” Miller, Brian Brisko & PHS Players
Athletes will focus on developing basic fundamental basketball skills including passing, shooting, dribbling, defense and basic court positioning, all while learning the basic rules of the game.
Outdoor Adventure Camp (#213211)
DATES: July 16- 20 & July 30- Aug. 3 GRADES: 3- 5 & 6- 8
FEE: $200/ $225 INSTRUCTOR: PAC Staff
Participants will have the opportunity to experience the great outdoors through an array of activities including, but not limited to, hiking, horseback riding, target shooting, canoeing, paddle boating, rock climbing, fishing and sailing. Educational topics including survival skills, water safety, plant & fish identification and more will be integrated into every day’s schedule. The two different weeks activities will vary slightly but both weeks will introduce your child to a range of outdoor hobbies for them and your family, to better enjoy our beautiful Wyoming Summers.
High School Competitive Swim Camp (#211154)
DATES: July 16- 27 GRADES: 9- 12
FEE: $75 INSTRUCTOR: Ron Ruckman
This competitive swim camp will be a high intensity technique refinement camp for people who are already swimming at a competitive level. Springboard diving may be included if there is enough interest.
Football Camp (#213204)
DATES: July 23- 27 GRADES: 3- 5
FEE: $40 INSTRUCTOR: Allen Johnson & PHS Players
Athletes will focus on developing and improving basic fundamental football skills through individual and group drills while learning the rules and language of the game. This camp is the perfect introduction to football and is part of the progressive skill development program that beings with PAC’s Jr. Wranglers and continues thru to the High School Varsity Wrangler Football team. Golf Camp (#213215)
DATES: Aug. 6- 9 GRADES: 5- 8
FEE: $85 INSTRUCTOR: Kirby Walker
Participants will focus on developing basic golf fundamentals including proper stance, swing, putting and chipping. They will also learn the rules of the game and practice golf etiquette. This camp will be held at the Rendezvous Meadows Golf Course and clubs will be available for participants during camp and no extra charge, thanks to the Kiwanis Club.
Summer Youth Programs
Climing Club (#211300)
DATES: July 2- Aug. 30 GRADES: 1- 12
FEE: $45 INSTRUCTOR: PAC Climbing Staff
Grades 1- 5: Tues./Thurs. from 8:30- 9:30 AM
Grades 6- 8: Tues./Thurs. from 10:00- 11:00 AM
Grades 9- 12: Mon./Wed. from 6:00- 7:00 PM
PAC Membership is required for this program. The PAC Climbing Club is for climbers in 1- 12 grade who have some climbing experience and/or are interested in learning and becoming a better climber. Climbers will receive climbing instruction to improve overall climbing technique and ability, become familiar with climbing equipment and terms, and play climbing games; climbers will be expected to climb routes. Participants’ grades 6- 12 will learn to belay. Climbers may learn to lead climb at the discretion of the instructors. An end of Summer, one-day outdoor climbing trip will also take place; destination TBD. PAC plans to continue this program during the school year, based on overall interest. Grades 4- 6: Tues./Thurs. from 11:30- 12:30 AM
Grades 7- 12: Mon./Wed. from 1:00- 2:00 PM
No PAC Membership is required for this program. The focus of this program is to offer continuous tennis exposure through special drills and games to present tennis fundamentals in an exciting way to build hand-eye coordination and basic tennis strokes. Participants will review and practice game strategies and rules in both singles and doubles matches throughout the program. The season will end with a block-party tennis tournament on August 18.

Grades K- 2: Flag Football
Grades 3- 5: Tackle Football ($75 refundable equipment deposit - Checks Only Please)
Focused on offering a positive and rewarding introduction to football this fundamentally progressive program will familiarize participants with the various positions and basic formations of football while the athletes learn and practice fundamental skills. Teams will be divided equally based on skill level and age. Games will be played with an 8-man team on a 50 yard field. No PAC Membership required.
Jr. Wrangler Cheer (#211201)

DATES: Begins Aug. 20 GRADES: K- 5
FEE: $45 (+$20 refundable equipment deposit) INSTRUCTOR: Volunteer Coaches Needed!
Focused on building team spirit and pride, while fostering coordination development and grace, this program introduces your athlete to the basic motions, jumps, stunts and formations of cheer. Beginner level tumbling such as cart wheels, round-offs and bridges will be included in the program, as well as dance coordination. Teamwork, camaraderie and self-confidence will be major focus points throughout the season. Cheer teams will support the Jr. Wrangler Football teams during all home games. No PAC Membership required.
Wind River Kemp Karate Club
All karate classes are taught by Sensei: Karen Rogers
Kinder Karate
Wednesday & Thursday: 4:15 - 5:00 PM
Students, ages 4 to 6, learn to follow directions in a group class setting. Basic techniques are playfully frilled while balance, strength, coordination, and confidence increase.
Beginner
Elementary School
Tuesday & Thursday: 4:15 - 5:00 PM
Students, ages 7+, learn basic techniques and practice them in safe and fun ways. Self defense techniques are practiced, as well as ‘kata’, or imaginary fight sequences.
Advanced
Monday: 4:15 - 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 5:00 - 7:00 PM
More advanced students will learn more complicated drills, kicks, and katas.
Weapons Training
Mondays: 3:30 - 4:15 PM
Weapons is open to all levels, middle school ages and older
Fees
First Family Member: $25.00 per month
Additional Family Members: $20.00 per month
Weapons: $15.00 per class ($5.00 discount for patrons already enrolled in karate class)

Fit Kids
Dates: Wednesday & Friday at 10:00 - 11:00 AM
Instructor: Sam Harnack
The Fit Kids program runs during the school year for 2 - 5 year olds. Moms and Dads can bring their kids in for socialization and instruction on fundamentals for general activities (somersaults, stretching, throwing, catching, etc.) This class is very flexible for your child with approximately 75% free play and 25% guided time. Children who are not interested in the lessons will be encouraged but not required to participate in the guided time. Parents are asked to participate when appropriate. Class is free to all participants.
