Board Members Move On....
MARK PAPE WAS RECOGNIZED FOR HIS SERVICE TO THE PAC JOINT POWERS BOARD ON NOVEMBER 15, 2016
Mark Pape served on PAC's Joint Powers Board for almost two years.
Since January, 2015, Mark has served as a diligent board member. He came to meetings well prepared and always gave all agenda items careful consideration. Mark invested himself in learning about PAC and its operations. He asked questions and made suggestions. He never hesitated to address head on what he deemed important. PAC Staff have appreciated Mark's forthright attitude and his honest questions or opinions. We have benefitted from his work ethic and integrity as a board member. It was Mark who took it upon himself to draft the PAC Board-Director Governance Document that the JPB adopted in November, 2016. Thank you, Mark, for giving us your attention for these past two years. We wish you the very best in your next chapter of life and service in our community. We hope you'll remember to visit us often in coming years!
JAMISON ZIEGLER WAS RECOGNIZED FOR 10 YEARS SERVICE TO PAC ON JANUARY 10, 2017
Jamison Ziegler has served on the PAC Joint Powers Board since 2007. During his term(s), he has served as Chairman, and held other officer positions. Prior to his tenure on the JPB, he had served as the construction manager for the school district and participated in early conversations about building PAC. He was a voice for PAC long before it existed. Jamison has defended PAC's mission to school board members, as well as being a PAC ambassador out in the community and around the state. It was a desire of Jamison to see youth free at PAC. In January, 2016, this came about. Personally, he has served as a volunteer coach for PAC programs, including Jr. Wrangler and Jr. Jazz. Additionally, his three children have grown up participating in the PAC programs that he supported. He and his wife have enjoyed PAC individually and as a family. Truly, Jamison has embraced the mission and vision of PAC since the beginning. As he moves on in his tenure as the Chairman of the SCSD#1 Board of Trustees, Jamison will be re-directing his attention to another board.
The Staff thanks Jamison for his dedication to PAC's role in the community. He carried our torch high. We trust he will continue to support us in his role on the SCSD#1 Board of Trustees.
