It is with great enthusiasm that I introduce to you the new Director of PAC, Amber Anderson. She will be the “official” Director beginning December 1st, allowing for a few weeks of overlap in the Director’s office.
Amber has worked at PAC since 2008, first as a Recreation Aide, then a Recreation Assistant. For the past five years, Amber has served as PAC’s Recreation Coordinator, leading the Recreation Department to great achievement, from diverse activities, programs and events for youth and adults, to leading and training staff to meet the needs of an ever expanding public demand for all things fun and fitness!
Under her leadership, our summer season Little Wrangler Day Camp has grown and flourished to become a program the community has come to rely on for their children’s summer entertainment and enrichment. After school programming has expanded, including multiple programs that teach life-long skill development for youth and provide an active, supervised environment for kids.
For five years, Amber has been a trusted member of our supervisory team, planning and executing everything that happens at PAC. From the small to the big challenges, she never shies away, and reliably stands tall to support the mission and vision of PAC, internally and externally.
Amber appreciates the community partnerships PAC has developed and believes in fostering those relationships to ever better meet the needs of our greater community. She understands the need to be flexible in a changing economy, and the value of working together and sharing resources to do so.
I am confident that Amber Anderson will carry on the culture of this amazing place we call PAC. She will carry it to the next level of excellence as it breaks into the next decade.
It is my pleasure to pass the torch to Amber Anderson. PAC will be in good hands.
