GOOD TO KNOW RULES
We want you to have the best of days at PAC. Please take a moment to review these good to know rules before your visit. If you have any questions or for clarification, please contact us at (307)367-2832, ext. 1.
We look forward to seeing you at PAC!
-
All patrons must pay daily admission or check-in with a membership upon arrival. This includes all persons including those just spectating with their group. The exception is those that are here to spectate during an organized program or event or as part of a facility rental/league/tournament.
-
All children ages 7 and under must be accompanied, at all time, by an actively supervising responsible person aged 16+. This includes being in the water with the child.
-
PAC is located on SCSD#1 premises. No alcohol, tobacco, e-cigerattes, vaping products, firearms, weapons, or pets are allowed in the building or surround areas (except service dogs as defined by ADA & WY State Statute 35-13-205).
-
School aged children are not allowed at PAC during the local school district's school hours (generally Sept-May, 8am-3pm) except when actively supervised by an adult. Parents/Guardians of students age 16+ may request their child be allowed at PAC during the school day for physical fitness use by submitting this form.
-
Shirts and shoes are required at all times in all areas outside of the pools and locker rooms.
-
Children, ages 5 and older, are requested to use gender specific locker rooms. Two family change rooms are located on either side of the entrance to the competition pool for family or individual use for any person who would prefer to not use gender specific locker rooms.
-
Patrons must be 14 years of age or older - or accompanied by an actively supervising responsible person 16 or older - to be in the upstairs area at PAC (includes walking track, spectator area, studio room, racquetball court, and fitness area).
-
The weight room is open to those 16 years of age and over who are actively participating. Youth aged 14-15 may use the weight room when actively supervised by an adult (18+). Youth under 14 are prohibited in the weight room (this includes babies in infant car seats).
-
Patrons must be 14 years or older to use the hot tub.
-
Only Coast Guard approved life vests or flotation devices are allowed in the pools. No inflatable water wings. Life vests with a bottom strap will need to be removed prior to use of the water slide.
-
Area specific rules are posted throughout the facility. Please review and ask our staff if you have any questions. Failure to respect PAC rules and/or directions from staff may result in a loss of facility use privileges as outlined in the PAC Public Policies.
RETAIL, SNACKS & CONVENIENCE ITEMS
We have a small stock of retail sports equipment, swimsuits, mermaid tales, goggles, swim caps, earbuds, and towels available for purchase.
In need of a mid-day snack during your visit? Check out our vending machines in the lobby or snack concessions available in the lifeguard room.
SCHOLARSHIPS
PAC is a facility meant to be enjoyed by everyone in the community. PAC and Friends of PAC have teamed up to ensure adequate scholarships are available to ensure all have access to PAC. Adult and senior membership scholarships are provided directly through PAC with eligibility being income driven. Youth membership and program scholarships are supported through Friends of PAC. While income guidelines are generally used to determine eligibility, all those in need are encouraged to apply as Friends of PAC has the ability to provide more flexible eligibility criteria. GOVERNANCE & JOINT POWERS BOARD
The Pinedale Aquatic Center is governed by a Joint Powers Board formed through a Joint Powers Agreement between Sublette County School District #1, Sublette County, and the Town of Pinedale. The building is owned by SCSD#1 and is located on school property. The Joint Powers Board meets monthly on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. The meetings are held in the PAC classroom and are open to the public. Visit our Board website to learn more about PAC and our board as well as view meeting schedules, agenda, and minutes.
